Boy-oh-boy! How did I come to design this wonderful program to lose weight?
For months I ate food that was low-cal. It meant I was getting no nourishment – zilch, nada - and no taste to boot. Of course, that also meant I was eating less. Plus the fact that not all foods have a low-cal version meant that I was not getting adequate protein and vitamins, or so my doctor explained when I went to report recurring blinding headaches and dizziness.
Next I tried high protein intakes – meat products and no fiber or vegetables. I lost weight but so did my healthy positive outlook. I stopped going to parties and late night invitations of drinks and food. No, this was not for me.
But, I sputtered. I began eating only fruits. Fruits are good for you, right? Well according to my doctor they are; but they are NOT the main source of nutrients, just a supplement.
I’d also pop a diet pill everyday to take care of the urges I had to eat more. WOW! I was so smart. You know why pharmaceutical companies dole out these candies? So we can later buy out their drugs to control our bowel movements and to control our blood pressure to say the least.
I had also thrown in a bit of hydrotherapy to the act. I suppose I’d thought that me in the bathroom would keep me away from all those tempting goodies.
Well it did, it also landed me in the hospital for a brief stay. Then, thanks to all the glucose and whatnot that my malnourished cells sucked up I was 5 pounds heavier than B.S. (Before Stupidity) and I looked 15 pounds heavier.
Now I had hospital bills to take care of along with nutritional supplements, vitamins and a few other expensive medications to boost me up. Now I am back to plain old healthy comfort eating and gain even more weight, even quicker than before. Now, I am obese but HEALTHIER. So much for dieting!

It totally beats me how people get fooled into this mass hysteria about 100 different diet plans (something similar to religions). Don't people get it? Diets don't work.. anything that is a temporary plan will.. remain... uh. temporary. Only way to lose weight is to change your lifestyle (better food, more activity).. nothing else works.
