This is a terrific video that highlights the ills of smoking. The video shows the process (based on electrolization and vaporization method) of extracting tar from cigarettes...this process releases more than 400 types of poisoned chemicals.

So, imagine how harmful these chemicals can be when inhaled. Needless to say, the chemicals get deposited in your lungs. Clearly, governments need to do more than just issue statutory warnings on cigarette packs.
