Windows Live Mail is Microsoft's next-generation e-mail program. It includes the familiar features of Microsoft Outlook Express and more. Use it to get multiple e-mail accounts in one place, and seamlessly access other Windows Live stuff like Spaces and Messenger.

1. Unified: Get multiple e-mail accounts in one place—not only Hotmail, but Gmail, Yahoo!*, and many more. Plus, you can start a Windows Live Messenger conversation right from your inbox, or jump right into the latest updates from your friends' Windows Live Spaces blogs.
2. Photo e-mail: Send high-resolution photos without clogging their inboxes with gigantic attachments. Your contact will see a thumbnail image embedded in your message. When they click on it, they'll see the full-sized picture, at a private Web location. Plus, you can do basic photo editing, add borders, and control just how the thumbnail images are displayed in your e-mail.
3. Serious security: Use Windows Live Mail to help maximize privacy, safety, and security across your e-mail accounts. Spam filters scan for junk e-mail, red and yellow warning bars tell you when a message seems to be suspicious, and the "Delete and block" button lets you tell scammers to buzz off.
