I was shocked when I first saw this clip on Youtube..I knew (our NOT the most popular) President Bush was NOT the most eloquent of speakers...but, ouch, this was disgraceful...so much stuttering, stammering, and then ubruptly ending the conference! I just could not believe it!
So, I did some research over the Web and found out that this was from a news conference the President gave in the Indian Treaty Room in the Old Executive Office Building next to the White House on 12/20/2006 (http://www.c-span.org/rss/video.asp?MediaID=29103). He talked about and answered questions on troop levels in Iraq, immigration reform, the importance of working in a bipartisan way next year when Democrats take control of Congress, amongst other issues during this conference.
And, at no point during the conference did he stutter and stammer as much as this clip shows! So, clearly the clip is doctored!
