The Golden Jubilee is currently the largest faceted diamond in the world. A large brown diamond of 546 carats (151 g) discovered in 1985 in the prolific blue ground of the Premier mine in South Africa. The diamond was later cut and named The Golden Jubilee, with an as-of today unsurpassed weight of 545.67 carats (109.13 g). Originally owned by De Beers, it is currently owned by King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.

The Cullinan mined from the Premier Mine in South Africa is the largest rough diamond that has ever been found in the world. Discovered in 1905, it weighed over 3,106 carats with a weight of 1.26 pounds.

Cullinan I or Great Star of Africa is the largest cut, polished diamond from the rough diamond Cullinan. It weighs around 530.2 carats (106.04 g) with about 76 facets. It was the largest polished diamond in the world until the 1985 discovery of the Golden Jubilee diamond (545.67 cts), also from the Premier Mine. Cullinan I is now mounted in the head of the Sceptre with the Cross.

It weighs around 317.4 carats (63.48 g) and is the 3rd largest polished diamond in the world. It is also part of the British crown jewels, as it forms a part of the Imperial State Crown. It is on display at the Tower or London.

The De Beers Millennium Star is the world's largest known top color (D), internally and externally flawless, pear-shaped diamond. The 203.04 carat (40.608 g) diamond was discovered in the Mbuji-Mayi district of Zaire (Democratic Republic of Congo) in 1990. The uncut, rough diamond was 777 carats (155.4 g). This laser-cut diamond is currently owned by De Beers.
