QA testing process was usually carried out manually; making it a time-consuming process but new test management software now makes the work quick and efficient. In software test management there are several aspects that have to work perfectly for the test team to achieve the desired results.

The new test management system that is out in the market is flexible and reliable thereby helping the test team in defect tracking management and in tracking testing metrics but also to choose any of the QA methodologies such as Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile and V Model that gels perfectly well with the system.

Defect tracking is very important because the very objective of conducting the tests is to find as many defects as possible and thereby ensuring the product’s quality. Testing metrics help to confirm whether the testing process will produce the desired results and if not then make necessary changes to achieve that. As far as QA methodologies or software development lifecycles are concerned it helps the software development team to carry out various activities from planning, testing to deployment.
