Ingredients
- 3 teacups of green peas skins
- 1 tablespoon green peas
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- 1 chopped onion (mid-sized)
- 2 teacups of skimmed milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Put the butter and the chopped onions in a frying pan and fry for 1-2 min. till the onions are golden yellow
- Add the green peas skins with about 1/2 teacup of water.
- Cook for about 5 minutes
- Add the skimmed milk and cook for another 3-4 minutes
- Blend the mixture into a puree
- Strain the puree.
- Remove and discard the skin
- Boil the stock for another 1-2 minutes
- Add salt and pepper and serve hot
