The iPhone lacks an FM tuner, but you can use this app to get create personalized radio stations from Pandora's enormous catalog. You can also bookmark, tag, and rate tracks from within the app. Streaming works fine over EDGE and 3G, but the sound quality is best over WiFi. (Get it!)

I am a musician and I absolutely love the BeatMaker. It combines a drum machine, sampler, sequencer, and editor with an expandable sound and effects library that includes lots of different instruments. The app has a bit of a learning curve, but beat-crafters who want something for composing on the go will really dig it. (Get it!)
Apple designed its own simple app for using your iPhone as a remote control for iTunes on your desktop. The controls are very responsive, and the app lets you browse your iTunes music and videos as long as you're in range of your wireless network. Perfect if your computer is hooked up to your home stereo. You can also set it up to control an AppleTV.

Wikipedia, faster and easier. I use Wikipedia a lot and there is a noticeable difference in the speed of loading in this compared to safari. Plus, the whole thing is organized in a much better interface for iPhone
