This is an insipid standup comedy act of Bill Maher on the Tonight Show of Johnny Carson (the initial introduction of Bill Maher is by Johnny)...the performance was clearly early in his career.

May be Bill was a little tense and nervous! Yet, Bill shows his brilliance in bits and pieces - particularly the Ronald Reagan part of the act. Hard to believe so many of Bill's jokes fall flat - this also proves the critical role of Hollywood writers who contribute so much to the success of talk shows on TV.
