This is rotoscoped animation - every frame apparently was drawn by hand using a wacom tablet. Even the titles were hand-drawn. This video clip is fantastic! Imagine drawing each frame of the film being hand drawn.

This looks so labor intensive. The clip is about a minute and 10 seconds (excluding the blank frames). That is about 70 seconds worth of frames. I kind of got the feeling there are about 5-6 frames...
