This is scary...yet another reason why it is dangerous to fly in the skies...
But, I have my reservations about whether the bolt of lightning actually hit the aircraft. Had the electrical charge passed through the aircraft and then passed on to the ground, would it not have practically fried or electrocuted the passengers on board?
So, in my opinion the streak of lightning actually passed behind the aircraft! And, it only seems like the plane has been hit by lightning!
