Murata Boy - a robot cyclist manufactured by Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Chiba, Japan. Murata Boy can balance using position detection gyro sensors. He can avoid obstacles, detect uneven surfaces and transmit images directly back to a computer. it is hoped this type of robots will eventually be able to lift heavy loads, and work in dangerous zones such as construction sites and disaster zones.
