It is based on the notion that nature has significant healing power. Wigmore's theory on the healing power of grasses was predicated upon the Biblical story of Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar. According to the story, a diet of green grass cured the king's insanity.

Wheatgrass cultivation

Sow wheat seeds on a fertile plot of land. The seeds germinate and start growing in about 7 days. Make sure you grow it organically (use farm yard manure only). Water the seedlings regularly. It is advisable to raise the crop under the shade of a tree. Harvest the grass after it has grown to a height of about 7 inches (18 cm.)

Consumption

Wash the harvested grass thoroughly. Grind the grass to extract juice. Sip the recommended dose of the juice slowly an hour before or after food. The juice has to be consumed fresh.

Medicinal properties

This health drink is useful for people of all ages. Children should be administered only 5-10 drops of this juice. Adults can take upto 4 table spoons of this juice four times a day. This juice eliminates all toxic wastes from the body and builds vital energy. In other words, Wheatgrass juice acts as an ambrosia.

The juice is found very beneficial to persons suffering from arthritis, chronic skin diseases, anemia, gum infections, gastric ulcers, mental disorders, etc.
