A tinted moisturizer with an SPF of 15 or higher evens out your skin tone while also acting as a sun block. It also needs less care in application compared to a foundation. If you have dark circles or blemishes that need to be covered then use a concealer in those areas.

If pressed for time you can skip the eyeliner as well the eye shadow. If you do use an eye shadow, use a creamy one that is neutral or a shade darker than your skin to highlight your eyes. Your eyeliner can be black or brown though the latter makes you look more casually chic. Patting your eyeliner with powder gives a softer look.

Use waterproof mascara that coats and elongates your lashes without going over the top. For a casually chic look use the liner and the mascara only on the upper lashes.

For color apply a nude shade like peach that suits most skin tones. Apply the blush lightly on cheeks. If you have not used eye makeup dust a little powder on the eyelids as well.

The lipstick should be a color that softens your lips (pink, peach or light brown). If the lipstick is of the long lasting variety it protects your lips from dryness. If you have the time use a lip liner after you have applied the lipstick to avoid bleeds yet keep it soft.

Ideally there should be no contrast among your lips, eyes, skin and hair. To look naturally chic when too pressed for time apply just the moisturizer and use a lipstick to brighten up your face.
