ICE AGE
When neither fish nor fowl was found on Earth,
Nor beast nor mankind had yet taken birth;
And man and salt were of no worth
APE AGE
According to one Charles Darwin's theory,
It wasnt Eve's dearie;
But the ape who just grew weary.
STONE AGE
When cavemen by rubbing stone, made the nights brighter;
Millions of years later, a blighter
On the same principle invented the cigarette Lighter.
IRON AGE
An age when the knife was first made,
And hence the mafia foundation was laid.
PLASTIC AGE
In the 60s by inches grew skirts shorter,
Cocaine , LSD, & Woodstock made brains lighter,
And "The King & I" was an Elvis movie to a 60s daughter.
A.D AGE
Then came the American dream age,
When I lost friends & cousins to a country I read only in a page.
