The story of the movie Summer 2007 is about a forced stay in village taken up by five modern medical students, represent the youth hooked onto xbox's and formula 1 racing. The movie stars with five college going youngsters who are studying in a medical college and in their internship they are almost forced to stay in a rural area. The five young doctors start a new journey into life when they stay in a poor village in a summer. They will undergo complete change in their personalities and perception towards life when they are finished with their project in the village. They are forced to confront their own apathy, their own fears and their strange complicity in the circumstances of the village. Before they can run from there, they get sucked into the whirlpool of counter currents. Each of the five undergo different kinds of catharsis and in the end have to make a choice. From being the most popular group in college to an experimental walk through the regressive side of India, what happens next is basically the nitty-gritty story of this very ably made film.
